Airports

San Francisco International Airport (SFO)

The closest airport to ICNPR 2020 is SFO (15 miles from venue) – www.flysfo.com/

SFO is the major international airport for Northern California.  Currently, 57 domestic and international carriers serve SFO, including direct or connecting flights from major cities in Asia, South and Central America, North America, Europe and Africa.

Oakland International Airport (OAK)

An alternate airport is OAK (19 miles from venue) –  www.oaklandairport.com
OAK is served by 13 airlines with flights to 55 domestic and international cities.  If a flight to OAK serves your needs, it is a good alternate to SFO and is worthy of consideration

San Jose (SJC)

Travel to this airport is NOT recommended for ICNPR 2020 attendees. SJC is 50 miles from our venue and there are no good options to get to our hotel)

Ground Transportation

(the Hyatt Regency does not offer a shuttle service)

To and From SFO or OAK to the Hyatt Regency San Francisco Embarcadero:

BART will be the most economical way to get from SFO or OAK to the ICNPR 2020 hotel.

BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit) – BART has frequent service from both airports to the Embarcadero Station, which is across the street from the Hyatt Regency SF Embarcadero.

Once you arrive and collect your bags, follow the signs to the BART station.  Riding BART will need to purchase a “Clipper Card” for $3, (cash USD or credit card).

To Use:  “Tap”  your Clipper Card at the fare gate, you will gain access to BART, then “tap” again when you depart – at this point your fare will be deducted from your account.   An advantage of Clipper Card is that it can also be used in 22 different transit agencies in the Bay Area, including San Francisco MUNI – the cities’ bus and light rail system.

Note BART does not operate late nights until early mornings (variable for each airport and day of the week).  Depending on the airport or time of arrival, service may be direct to the Embarcadero or involve a connection.  See the BART website for current schedule information.  www.bart.gov
